🌟 Team Spotlight: Wingers! 🌟

Meet the Wingers from Red Wing Senior High School — the sixth and final team heading to Make48 Season 9 Nationals this weekend! 🙌

These young innovators soared through the Winona competition with their project SPILL BLOCK, a modular, recycled-rubber safety mat designed to prevent slip-and-fall accidents in workplaces and schools. 💡🧠

Team members Tristan, Bentley, Gavin, and Piper (filling in for Seth) are ready to bring their A-game to Nationals! Let’s go, Wingers!

Big news! The CTEC CAPS Creators from DeSoto, Kansas are heading to Make48 Nationals in Fishers, IN next weekend!

These talented young women from Cedar Trails Exploration Center earned Runner-Up at the Women in STEM regional with their creative “she shed” prototype that blended style, function, and innovation.

Maddy, Crosby, Caroline, and team captain Ms. Berry are bringing their energy, teamwork, and Kansas creativity to the national stage. Let’s cheer them on as they represent women in STEM and show what’s possible when imagination meets determination! 🙌

A HUGE shout-out to the dream team that brought the to life! 🔨✨

From Make48 legends Tyler, Miles and Adam, to Tom Gray’s awesome Kiwi friend Matt, and the fantastic family crew – Amy, Brooks, Flynn and Cass – we had a blast finishing this build!

This beautiful shed is the centerpiece of our Women in STEM Challenge, and you can catch all the action in the upcoming episodes!
