I stopped by YUM TEA KC and let’s just say… I had a little too much fun trying all the different drinks 😂💕

From milk teas and boba to matcha, slushies, milkshakes + sweet treats, there are SO many options to choose from! And I love that you can customize your drink to your own sweetness level and preferences. 🙌🏼

My favorite? The Crème Brûlée 🤤✨ But the Brown Sugar Oat Milk Matcha and Mango Passion Boba Tea were definitely worth trying too!

Whether you need a little afternoon pick-me-up, want somewhere cute to catch up with friends, or just have a craving for something sweet… add Yum Tea to your Northland stops! 🧋💕

When you’re in an area you don’t usually visit, finding a good lunch spot can be a challenge… so I pulled up the Empo App and let the map do the work! 📍✨

I’m LOVING the map feature because it makes it so easy to see what’s nearby AND discover deals and specials happening around you. 🙌🏼

That’s how we found Verbena at Meadowbrook Park, and I’m so glad we decided to give it a try! 🌿🍽️

The ambiance was so cute and I loved the decor! We started with a couple of cocktails 🍸 and the house rolls, which were the perfect way to kick things off.

For lunch, there were SO many tempting options from the veggie rigatoni and chicken Milanese to the cheeseburger we tried and everything was delicious! 😍🍔🍝

Definitely adding Verbena to my lunch list! And I have EMPO to thank for helping us discover another great spot in KC. 💚📍

We started the evening with Argentine w**e, delicious empanadas, and ceviche. For our entrées, we enjoyed the seafood pasta and the evening’s special a filet paired with shrimp and risotto. Every bite was absolutely delicious! 🤤
And you already know we couldn’t end the night without dessert! 🍰
Between the romantic ambiance, beautiful atmosphere, and incredible food, Piropos was everything we wanted for a perfect date night. Definitely a spot worth adding to your list! ❤️

✨ First time in LA, and I wanted to see as much of the city as possible without having a ton of time!

So I booked a Hollywood bus tour and honestly, it was such a fun way to get a little taste of everything in just one day. 🌴☀️

I chose the half-day tour, and our guide was so knowledgeable! We got to hear tons of fun facts and stories about Hollywood while exploring some of LA’s most iconic spots. 🎬✨

Some of Our stops included:
📍 Beverly Hills — checking out some famous sights
🌴 Sunset Strip
🌊 Santa Monica Pier — where we had time to walk around, grab a snack & enjoy the sunshine
🛍️ The Grove — a little shopping
🍴 Original Farmers Market — so many food options for a quick lunch break
🌆 Griffith Observatory — INCREDIBLE views + a peek at the Hollywood Sign! 😍

We ended back in Hollywood, where I obviously had to walk the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame… and of course, find MY own star! 😂⭐️

For a first visit to LA, this was such a fun and easy way to see a lot of the city without having to plan everything myself.

Unforked in Westwood just gave us another reason to stop by! 🎉 Their brand-new bar is officially open, and their Happy Hour lineup is definitely worth checking out. 🙌🏼

We kicked things off with cocktails because, let’s be honest… pretty drinks just hit different. 😍🍸 And these were just as delicious as they were cute!

Of course, we couldn’t skip the food. From burgers 🍔 and tacos 🌮 to fresh salads, grain bowls, chicken sandwiches and their truffle fries 🤤🍟 there’s something for everyone. Plus, they have Happy Hour bites that are perfect for sharing!

🌴💍 BACHELORETTE WEEKEND, BUT MAKE IT TROPICAL! 💍🌴

Since I’m having a destination beach wedding, it only felt right to bring the tropical vibes to KC for my bachelorette weekend! ☀️🌺 And honestly, Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City was the perfect place for a girls’ getaway without ever leaving town! 🍹✨

We brought the girls, stayed in connecting rooms, and made the most of every minute! Having everyone close by made the weekend so easy, especially with a bigger group. 👯‍♀️💕

And the POOL?! 🌴☀️ We had a cabana for the day, which quickly became our home base. My girls decorated it, we enjoyed poolside bites, played games, listened to the DJ, and spent the afternoon soaking up ALL the tropical vibes. 🏝️💦

After getting ready for the night, we kept the fun going with dinner at the on-site restaurant, and we even took advantage of the shuttle to check out some nearby spots! 🚐✨

Between the pool, cabana, dining, entertainment, spacious rooms, and all the on-site amenities, we really didn’t need to go far to have the BEST weekend. 💕🌴

It was the perfect way to celebrate this next chapter with some of my favorite girls, and I couldn’t have asked for a better bachelorette staycation! 🥂💍
