I turned felt into something that looks good enough to eat.

I’m creating a little apple orchard for a dramatic play area, and these handmade felt apples are one of the sweetest details! 🍏🍎

👻 THRIFTED GHOSTS | THE REVEAL! 👻✨

You guessed… or maybe you didn’t! 😂

Those ordinary Goodwill glasses I showed you yesterday got a spooky little makeover! 🎃

I turned them upside down, added fairy lights, and transformed them into the cutest glowing ghosts. 👻✨

Then I made a little witch hat from felt and stuffing, embellished it with gems and a leopard-print bow, and added some spooky eyes!

And the best part? They’ll be displayed on thrifted candlesticks for the finished Halloween display. 🖤

🖤 CLOCK MAKEOVER | PART THREE ✨

The finishing touch is finally here! ✨

After giving this $7.99 Goodwill clock a whole new look with Lamp Black, it was time to bring out the details with a little Rub ’n Buff. And WOW… those raised details really came to life! 🖤✨

But wait… there’s a surprise at the end! 👀🔔

I honestly wasn’t sure if this vintage clock still worked… but listen closely. 😍

IT CHIMES!!! 🔔🎶

I think that just made this thrifted treasure even more special. ❤️

For Part Two, I gave this $7.99 Goodwill clock its first big change with General Finishes Milk Paint in Lamp Black.

That rich black completely changes the feel of this piece… but we’re definitely not finished yet! 👀

Now I’m getting ready to add the details that are going to make this clock really stand out. ✨

I found this mantel clock at Goodwill for only $7.99 and I couldn’t leave it behind! 🙌🏼

Now comes the fun part… what should I do with it?!

I’m thinking about giving it a whole new look, but I can’t decide on the color. 🤔

The Little World I Created for My Grandkids in September: An Apple Orchard Play Area.

Last September, I turned a little space in my home into an apple orchard for my grandkids.

I made the apples out of felt, added Velcro so they could pick them from the tree, and created a little area where they could make their own apple pies.

And honestly? This is why I love creating.

It doesn’t always have to be about making a room prettier. Sometimes it’s about creating a place where little people can imagine, pretend, create… and make memories.

Because home isn’t just how it looks. It’s how it makes you feel.

This is one of the things I’m realizing as I continue growing Selina’s Fleur-de-Lis Home…

Home isn’t just about decorating. It’s about creating spaces for life to happen.

Sometimes that’s a beautiful room.
Sometimes it’s a thrifted treasure.
Sometimes it’s a DIY project.
And sometimes it’s an apple orchard in your home. 🍎😂

🛒🏃‍♀️ B***y Workout? Nope… I Went Thrifting Instead! 😂

I had a choice today… go do my b***y workout OR go to Goodwill.

Well… we all know how that turned out. 😂🛒

I went in just to look and somehow walked out with a FULL CART of treasures! And honestly… I’m not even a little bit sorry. 🙌🏼😂

I can already see these pieces in my home and I cannot wait to show you what I do with them! That’s my favorite part of thrifting… seeing the potential in something before it even comes home. 🤎
