We built in a fun day between the work — the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi. Getting that close to a giraffe is wild enough on its own, but watching Katherine and Hazel feed them was the actual highlight of the whole trip for me. Followed it up with a stop at a local gift shop for handmade souvenirs. 10/10 recommend both if you're ever in Nairobi.
