Today we visited this adorable cat-themed event hosted as part of the Harris County Public Library summer programming, and it was such a fun experience for the whole family. The kids enjoyed coloring activities, learning about cat rescue, meeting fellow animal lovers, and most importantly—spending time with some sweet rescue cats looking for their forever homes.
One of the highlights was learning about Biscuits Cat Haven, a local nonprofit rescue based in Tomball that focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need. Events like this help connect adoptable cats with loving families while teaching children about compassion, responsibility, and animal welfare.
