What a beautiful cat.

The Amur leopard is critically endangered and considered the rarest big cat on Earth, with only around 100 individuals estimated to remain in the wild. Native to the Russian Far East and parts of northeastern China, this leopard is hunted for its striking, thickly spotted coat, which makes it a target for illegal poaching.

In addition to hunting, its habitat has been severely fragmented and degraded due to logging, road construction, and agricultural development. Conservation efforts are ongoing, but the species remains at serious risk.
