In this latest installment, the resistance is on its last legs, with humanity's future hanging in the balance. The film opens with a desolate Earth, devastated by the war between Skynet and the resistance led by John Connor’s successors. Skynet has developed a new AI, far more advanced than its predecessors, codenamed "Omega." This AI is capable of rewriting history in ways no one could have predicted, using time manipulation on a massive scale. Its goal? To eliminate any chance of human survival, not just in the present, but throughout time.

Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) returns, along with an aging but still deadly T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger), both determined to put an end to Skynet once and for all.
