My friends, we have something very special to share with you...
While our world remains consumed with the constant fear from the threat of terror, below is a ray of light in the form of peace from the islands of Hawaii.....
The Honolulu Foundation Presents-
A World Peace Music Concert Aboard The USS Missouri At Pearl Harbor On December 7th 2015...
On December 7th 1941, the world literally stood still as it watched Hawaiian soil being bombarded by a surprise attack from the Imperial Japanese Navy. Thousands of lives were lost and we still mourn those innocent victims who were affected from the horrors of war. Four years later an atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima, Japan, killing hundreds of thousands of people. Again, innocent lives and countless victims all suffered from the plague associated with war...
On this December 7th 2015, 70 years later a new tone will be heard and felt in the air at Pearl Harbor. In celebration of 70 years of peace between Japan and Hawaii, USA, the Honolulu Foundation will commemorate a World Peace Music Concert aboard the USS Missouri; once a battleship now a symbol of peace... In as much as religion and culture sometimes separates people, the gift and power of music brings them together in unity and in harmony. In celebration of "Peace in the Pacific," please come and join us this December 7th aboard the USS Missouri at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii from 1:45-4:00 pm and celebrate our mission of world peace through music. Both Japanese and Hawaiian musicians alike will unite and perform music together in the name of peace...Included in our roster of premiere recording artists are Taz Vegas, "Brother For The People," Naoki Nishimuri, the first Japanese musician to perform for Pope John Paul, Na Kamali’i O ‘Iliahi performing "Another Rainbow," (performed with TAZ) Herb Ohta Jr. , Rev. Takamasa Yamamura and many more... If you appreciate music and if you honor peace, please come and join us on this very special day as we make history one note at a time!
We hope that you can attend!
PS Taz Vegas will be performing his latest world peace hit release, “Brother For The People,” filmed in NY and in Hawaii!
