🚨 PUBLIC WARNING – CYBER FRAUD ALERT 🚨
Aloha Hawaiian Subjects,
This is a formal cyber alert issued by the Office of Cyber Security & Credentials of the of the Office of the Hawaiian Subjects.
We have confirmed that criminals are actively impersonating SBA (Small Business Administration) agents via Facebook and mobile text apps. These individuals are contacting Hawaiian Subjects with false claims of prize winnings and asking victims to:
• Submit email and Facebook passwords
• Delay changing passwords until a payment is received
• Pay fraudulent “tax” or “processing” fees (e.g., $550)
These messages are **not legitimate** and are part of a coordinated scam network. One confirmed suspect, impersonating an SBA accountant, has already been reported to the SBA OIG, FBI, and FTC.
✅ DO NOT:
• Share passwords with anyone online
• Pay any fee for fake prizes or stimulus checks
• Give access to your Google or email accounts
