🌾 THE HARVEST IS STILL PLENTIFUL 🌾

The harvest remains plentiful in our world today. Many people hunger for meaning, truth, hope, and God’s love.

More than ever, our society is searching for answers. Behind the smiles, success, and busyness of life are people longing for peace, purpose, healing, and a relationship with God. This is where the Church has an important role to play.

The Church is not merely a building or an institution; she is the living presence of Christ in the world. She proclaims the truth that sets people free, offers hope to the discouraged, and extends God’s mercy to the broken and forgotten.

As St. Augustine reminds us, “The Church is the world reconciled.” Through her ministries, schools, hospitals, charities, and above all through the sacraments, the Church continues Christ’s mission of compassion and salvation.

St. John Chrysostom beautifully said, “The Church is a hospital for sinners.” Every day, she welcomes the wounded, strengthens the weak, and forms disciples who become laborers in the Lord’s harvest.

The mission of the Church is not reserved for priests and religious alone. Every baptized Christian is called to be a witness of Christ in the family, workplace, and community. The world needs faithful Catholics who will bring the light of the Gospel into the darkness of our time.

🙏 Let us pray for holy vocations.
🙏 Let us support the mission of the Church.
🙏 Let us become faithful laborers in the Lord’s harvest.

For the harvest is plentiful, and Christ still looks upon the world with compassion.

The one who sends us will also bring the harvest to completion.

You must push yourself into the desert of your life for a peaceful rediscovery of yourself.

A desert of the heart helps bring balance to our mental, emotional, and psychological well-being. Always take time to enter the "desert" a place of silence, prayer, reflection, and self-examination to discover who you truly are. Do not be deceived by the busyness and noise of the world in which we live. It is often in quiet moments, away from distractions, that we hear God's voice most clearly and gain a deeper understanding of ourselves, our purpose, and our relationship with Him. The desert may seem empty, but it is often there that we encounter the fullness of God's presence and the truth about who we are.

Corpus Christi reminds Catholics that Jesus remains truly present in the Eucharist, nourishes His people with divine life, unites the Church as one body, and sends believers forth to live lives of love and service. The feast invites every Catholic to deepen devotion to the Blessed Sacrament and to recognize in the Eucharist the greatest gift Christ has left to His Church. Amen.

We prayed for you here on Mount Lemmon as well. This is truly a place of quiet prayer, reflection, and deep meditation. I encourage you to visit places like this whenever you have the opportunity, as they provide a peaceful environment to encounter God, discover yourself more deeply, and thoughtfully evaluate each step of your life’s journey. In the silence and beauty of nature, we often gain clarity, renewed strength, and a deeper appreciation of God’s presence in our lives. Be assured of our continued prayers.

In the Upper Room, the disciples were afraid, confused, and uncertain about the future.

Pentecost reminds us that the Holy Spirit does not come to make us comfortable, but to make us courageous.🤔

Be intentionally humble.

Always be careful when making your way to the top and mindful of those around you. Not everyone who is with you is for you.🤔
