🌾 THE HARVEST IS STILL PLENTIFUL 🌾
The harvest remains plentiful in our world today. Many people hunger for meaning, truth, hope, and God’s love.
More than ever, our society is searching for answers. Behind the smiles, success, and busyness of life are people longing for peace, purpose, healing, and a relationship with God. This is where the Church has an important role to play.
The Church is not merely a building or an institution; she is the living presence of Christ in the world. She proclaims the truth that sets people free, offers hope to the discouraged, and extends God’s mercy to the broken and forgotten.
As St. Augustine reminds us, “The Church is the world reconciled.” Through her ministries, schools, hospitals, charities, and above all through the sacraments, the Church continues Christ’s mission of compassion and salvation.
St. John Chrysostom beautifully said, “The Church is a hospital for sinners.” Every day, she welcomes the wounded, strengthens the weak, and forms disciples who become laborers in the Lord’s harvest.
The mission of the Church is not reserved for priests and religious alone. Every baptized Christian is called to be a witness of Christ in the family, workplace, and community. The world needs faithful Catholics who will bring the light of the Gospel into the darkness of our time.
🙏 Let us pray for holy vocations.
🙏 Let us support the mission of the Church.
🙏 Let us become faithful laborers in the Lord’s harvest.
For the harvest is plentiful, and Christ still looks upon the world with compassion.
The one who sends us will also bring the harvest to completion.
