I really had to take a moment after this interview. Phylicia Rashad brings back so many memories from my childhood. Clair Huxtable was one of my very first style icons. I’ll never forget the episode when she won her family’s Ellis Wilson painting entitled “Funeral Procession” back from an auction. She wore a tan ensemble with pearls, and draped over her shoulder was a stole made of brown mink tails. I remember thinking, now that’s an elegant woman. Official
