Opened on August 15, 2016, M1 Concourse is an 87-acre motorsports venue and entertainment complex that includes a 1.5-mile-high performance driving track and an Event & Conference Center, along with 255 privately owned luxury garages condos.
Located about 30 miles outside of Detroit, in Pontiac, Michigan, on what was formerly a factory site for General Motors, M1 Concourse was acquired through the Revitalizing Auto Communities Environmental Response (RACER) Trust in 2013. RACER took over GM’s bad assets when the automaker was in bankruptcy.
This past weekend, M1 Concourse hosted the sixth year the MotorTrend's RoadKill Nights powered by Dodge.
This week, Stellantis will hold three separate nights of worldwide Dodge product reveals on August 15, 16 and17, highlighting their Dodge Speed Week, with announcements and reveals of Dodge's “current muscle,” “gateway muscle” and “future muscle” happenings at M1 Concourse.
This coming weekend, M1 Concourse will host its signature event, Woodward Dream Show – Friday, August 19 – as a compliment to the annual Woodward Dream Cruise.
M1 Concourse has been a major economic and revitalization driver for the City of Pontiac with its development and special event business. The gateway property located on Woodward Avenue has resulted in increased property values in surrounding neighborhoods, attracted other businesses to surrounding commercial properties, and has become very involved in supporting local non-profit and community organizations including the Pontiac Community Foundation and others.
