Due to recent events at Orange County Speedway on Saturday, October 25th, we have received numerous inquiries and comments, prompting a need to address this matter. We are certain that each of you has witnessed the dedication and perseverance of our drivers, team members, and family, consistently putting in long hours and overcoming multiple challenges to achieve success at every track. Despite being told they were incapable of succeeding, they have proven others wrong, with years of hard work, sacrifices, and determination, demonstrating their ability to rise above obstacles. However, the blatant favoritism displayed this weekend is appalling and serves as a stark reminder that success is often dependent on who you know and who you are acquainted with, rather than one's ethic or driving abilities. It is clear that those responsible do not truly know the Milam Motorsports team, as they would be aware that we will not back down and will fight for what is rightfully ours. Right and wrong are clearly defined, and it is unacceptable to advertise a race as a double points event, only to penalize drivers who were cleared through tech and not disqualified by withholding points. Had the track honored their commitment to award double points, this issue would not have arisen. This lack of integrity and character on the part of the track is disconcerting. Ultimately, a winner was stripped of their title due to their last name, which is a clear injustice. Rest assured, this fight is not over and has only just begun. We appreciate your constant support of our team and we will continue to rise above with dignity and our heads held high, and we will continue to succeed as we always do! 🏁🏆🏁
