Last minute camping purchases can go one of two ways… and I definitely overpacked for this trip 😂 But honestly? Zero regrets. I’m actually proud of how intentional I was with everything I packed.

Some of these ended up being actual lifesavers, some made camping with the dogs way easier & a few were completely unnecessary… but made me ridiculously happy anyway 🙊✨

The more I camp the more I realize it’s the little things that make being outside even more fun and comfortable… and yes that includes aesthetically pleasing things 💕✨😜

At least one of us was ready to take on the day… and it definitely wasn’t me 😂

I wanted five more minutes of sleep, but of course Mr. Security Guard needed to go potty.

At least I tell myself it was just leaves rustling… 🫣🙈

Then again Barley has barked at boulders before so honestly you can never be too sure 😂

Can we normalize not letting one bad walk ruin our entire day?

Because I know I’m not the only one who’s driven home replaying every bark, every lunge, and every “what if.”

We spend so much time analyzing the hard moments that we forget to celebrate all the good ones.

The other day we were having a perfect hiking day until we had to pass a barking dog and things got chaotic loud and embarrassing 🥲

My first thought was “well… there goes the perfect hike.”

But one moment doesn’t define the entire hike. It doesn’t define my dogs, and it doesn’t define me as a dog mom.

Tomorrow is another walk. Another opportunity. Another chance.
