Welp. Thanks to an argumentative 305, I wasn't able to make it to the cruise night at Jimmy's Hometown Pizzaria on time for all the hotrods - but I got a great sandwhich!

530 miles later...

I was pretty excited to get a good deal on front and rear bumpers, tailights and a deck lid for the '86 on my return trip from Mystic, CT - but Market place was in a giving mood for Memorial Day.

FIVE WHOLE YEARS I've been looking for a hood for Charlie, the '78 MC I've had since I was 19, and I finally found one all the way in Albany, NY!!!

Of course, I jumped right on it and by 9:30pm I was back home - $250 lighter, but one hard to find hood richer (plus they guy threw in a back glass, both quarter glass and both door glass too.)

Shout out to Dinosaur BBQ for some awesome grub on the way back!

Three day vacation? Nah, more like working on my own garbage 😅🤣

Driver side cab corner and front floor pan is done, passenger side needs 2 motr patches and that's done!

Then it's on to the rear pans.

Pretty soon I'll be able to get a driveline in my '78!
