There are certain moments in your career that quietly remind you how far you’ve come.

A few years ago, receiving recognition from The Communicator Awards was incredibly meaningful to me as a filmmaker and storyteller. So, to now serve as a juror for the 32nd Annual Communicator Awards as a member of the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts feels both humbling and deeply rewarding.

Getting the opportunity to help evaluate creative work from communicators, filmmakers, agencies, and artists around the world gave me an even greater appreciation for the passion, intention, and heart behind what we create in this industry.

I’m grateful for every experience, every client, every collaboration, and every story that has helped shape this journey.

Still creating. Still learning. Still honored to be part of this community.

There’s something really special about long-term creative partnerships.

When you work with the same client month after month, year after year, there’s a level of trust and rhythm that develops that makes the process seamless. No constant explaining. No starting from scratch. Just showing up, creating, collaborating, and telling their story consistently over time.

Today’s shoot is with one of those clients — a partnership that’s been going strong for over 3 years and countless videos later. Grateful for the relationships that grow beyond “just another project” and become true creative collaborations.

Gear packed. Batteries charged. Time to get to work.

There are moments in this work that remind me exactly why I chose it.

Yesterday I was on a shoot with a longtime client. Walking into the hospital, I realized how many familiar faces there were—people I’ve filmed with over and over again. The CEO knows me. The staff knows me. There’s an ease to it now. Real conversations, real trust. And every time, they thank me for the work… which never stops meaning something.

Last week was a similar kind of experience, just in a different setting. I was on a shoot with a friend, collaborating on one of his projects. We worked hard, but we also had a really good time doing it.

It made me realize that what I love about this work isn’t just the storytelling—it’s the people. The relationships. The chance to show up, create something meaningful together, and actually connect in the process.

That’s the part that stays with me.

Some stories stay with you long after the camera stops rolling.

We’ve recently wrapped a documentary that has been incredibly meaningful to create—one that reflects a life of intellect, love, complexity, and deep human connection.

Behind the scenes, it was hours in the edit suite… reviewing archival photos, shaping conversations, and holding space for moments that carry real emotional weight. This project, in particular, became part of something deeper—a process of grief, reflection, and honoring a life in a way that truly mattered.

Our client has shared how meaningful this experience has been, not just in the final film, but in the journey of revisiting memories and preserving them with intention.

There’s something truly special about being trusted with stories like this—especially when they hold such personal significance. It’s a responsibility we don’t take lightly.

Not every story is meant for a wide audience—and that makes the work even more meaningful.

Grateful to do this work. 🎬

Some nice news to share — Jennifer Paone of The Production House will be featured in *Influential Women 2026*!

Jennifer founded The Production House to help nonprofits, businesses, and mission-driven organizations share the stories behind the work they do in the world. Over the years, it’s been a privilege to collaborate with so many incredible people and organizations throughout the Monadnock region and beyond.

We’re grateful for the trust our clients place in us to help tell stories that matter — and thankful to be part of a community that values creativity, collaboration, and impact.

Congratulations, Jennifer, on the recognition!

There’s something about the first hints of spring that always brings us back to wedding season.

Longer days. Warmer air. That feeling that something beautiful is just about to unfold.

Ledah & Joseph’s wedding last summer was full of the kinds of moments we love capturing — quiet glances, joyful laughter, and the small in-between moments that end up meaning everything later. The kind of moments that turn a wedding film into a story you’ll want to revisit for the rest of your life.

As this new season begins to peek around the corner, we’re feeling excited for the stories still waiting to be told.

If you’re planning a wedding and want more than just a highlight reel — if you want a film that truly reflects the heart of your day — we’d love to be part of it.

One thing we’ve realized about what sets our work apart…

For us, it’s never really been about the industry — it’s always been about the story.

Recently, we were filming a plumbing and heating team during a new install, squeezed into a cramped basement, carefully maneuvering around tools, pipes, and people just trying to do their job well. Our goal wasn’t to direct the moment or slow them down — it was to quietly step into their world and capture it as it really happens.

(Grateful to Joanna Zambella of Consulting for bringing us into this project — we love collaborating with partners who value story as much as we do.)

Whether it’s a plumbing company, a manufacturer, or a nonprofit serving kids after school, the common thread is always the same: people who care about their work and the impact it has on others.

When you focus on human connection rather than categories, you start to see stories everywhere.

Good storytelling doesn’t belong to one industry. It belongs to the people behind the work — and helping others see why it matters.

Yesterday reminded us why we love what we do.

We spent the day on a manufacturing floor with a new client—learning their process, hearing their story, and getting curious about how things are actually made. This was a “shoot-only” project, which we don’t take on often, but it turned out to be one of those days that just clicked.

Chelsea and Jennifer had a genuinely great time connecting with the team, asking questions, and understanding the heart of their work. There’s something grounding about being invited into someone else’s world and being trusted to capture it well.

By the end of the shoot, they were already talking about having us back in the spring for corporate headshots. And that’s the part we love most—not just the project, but the beginning of a relationship.

The best work always grows from connection. And sometimes, the door opens simply because you showed up curious, present, and ready to listen.

Grateful for days like this.

Call now to connect with business.

Today we honor Martin Luther King Jr., not just for the words he spoke, but for the values he embedded into generations that followed.

Dr. King believed in the power of dignity, empathy, and collective responsibility — that progress isn’t driven by loudness, but by courage, compassion, and a willingness to truly see one another. His vision reminds us that justice is not abstract; it’s lived out in how we listen, how we lead, and how we show up for our communities.

His legacy continues to shape the way stories are told today — stories that amplify unheard voices, challenge harmful narratives, and invite people to step into deeper understanding. Storytelling, at its best, is an act of service. It builds bridges. It humanizes. It moves us closer to one another.

On this MLK Day, may we honor his life not only in remembrance, but in action — by choosing empathy over indifference, truth over comfort, and connection over division.

His dream lives on in every generation willing to carry it forward.
