Peer Support Specialist (Certified Recovery Mentor)
Soaring Heights Recovery Homes

Location: Salem, Oregon (Marion County)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $20–$22/hour

Soaring Heights provides individuals new in recovery from alcohol and drugs the opportunity to live in a structured, supportive environment. Our homes are shared by residents who are building sober lives and working toward self-sufficiency, stability, and long-term recovery.

Peer Support Specialists help residents adjust to sober living, develop life skills, and connect with community resources. They play a vital role in promoting accountability, stability, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents in maintaining a healthy, substance-free home environment.
• Facilitate weekly meetings and monthly Unity Nights.
• Conduct interviews, goal-setting, and individual support sessions.
• Oversee urinalysis testing and documentation.
• Help residents connect with community resources, employment, and housing.

Qualifications

• Certified Peer Support Specialist (PSS) or Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM).
• Minimum 2 years in recovery.
• Experience supporting individuals in recovery.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance
