FREE thing to do in Galveston!

The Galveston-Port Bolivar Ferry is free to ride, runs 24 hours a day, and you can walk on or bring your vehicle. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot some dolphins along the way!

We spent 7 HOURS at this arcade!

Push Start Play in Lewisville, Texas (near Dallas) has hundreds of games, with more than 400 included with unlimited play. Our kids could play, replay and keep going without using credits for every game, and our two older kids still weren't ready to leave after around seven hours!

A waterfront playground in Galveston, TX!

Seawolf Park Playground is right next to the Galveston Naval Museum and has some pretty awesome views of the water while the kids play!

Fresh seafood + waterfront views in Galveston!

We stopped at Katie’s Seafood House for lunch and absolutely loved it! We sat outside by the water, tried some amazing fresh seafood, and finished lunch with one MASSIVE mint chocolate sundae.

We were invited to visit Push Start Play in Lewisville, Texas and had such a fantastic time exploring the huge arcade!

There are tons of games to choose from, including classic arcade games, pinball, racing games, VR, and more. Our whole family had a blast checking it out!

Exploring the USS Stewart, a WWII destroyer es**rt at the Galveston Naval Museum!

You can walk through the ship and explore the different rooms, passageways, and decks while getting a look at what life was like onboard.
