The U.S. has expanded its list of tariff exclusions, but most chemical producers are still waiting for relief.
While sectors like aerospace and pharmaceuticals received new carve-outs, bulk chemicals, polymers and widely used resins remain fully tariffed.
That means higher input costs and continued supply-chain pressure heading into 2026.
