New workshop this Thursday! Come learn the basics of composting, which creates a great soil amendment and keeps materials from going to the landfill. Dr. Caley Gasch, a University of Alaska Fairbanks Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station soil scientist, will build a mini compost pile as a demonstration.

This lunch-and-learn event is available in person and via Zoom. The class will be at the Matanuska Experiment Farm and Extension Center, 1509 S. Georgeson Drive, Palmer. Please feel free to bring your lunch if you will be joining us at the farm. We invite you to join us in person to see Caley's demo up close!
