🚨 STOP THE ESD SCAM 🚨
ESD = Extortion via Special DistrictBecause once they get your money, they never stop.
Citizens of Kendall County, especially along Highway 46 from Boerne to Spring Branch: WAKE UP. What’s being sold to you as a “public safety measure” is really just a financial and political Trojan horse.
Before you vote to create a new Emergency Services District (ESD), ask yourselves:
🔥 Why do the Chief of the Bergheim Volunteer Fire Department and the Board Members think they can spend $450,000 of YOUR taxpayer dollars more efficiently than the County can?🔥 What exactly are YOU and your Board really after?🔥 If it’s about a full-time Fire Chief, why not apply for the one that will be created by the County?🔥 Is it true that this proposed ESD is a requirement for San Antonio to expand its ETJ and lay the groundwork for Section 8 and HUD-backed “Affordable Housing” all the way up Highway 3351 and along Highway 46?
Let’s not pretend this is just about better emergency services. It’s not. It’s about infrastructure – the kind needed to make San Antonio’s socialist sprawl dreams a reality. That includes fire protection – which must exist before they can legally move forward with HUD developments in what they call “High Opportunity Neighborhoods.”
The Real Acronym Breakdown:
* Endless Seizure Department – They’re not here to help. They’re here to collect.
* Excessive Surcharge Division – “Just one more” line item on your property tax bill.
* Elite Spending Den – A cozy little place where your tax dollars go to retire.
* Everyone Surrender Dough – Pay up, peasant. It’s for your “safety.”
* Extorting Suburbia Daily – Even if you never call 911, you’ll still pay. Again.
* Emergency Scam Device – A clever disguise for legalized looting.
* Every Second Dollar – That’s how often they want a slice of your paycheck.
Ask yourself why this “urgent need” for a new ESD seems to align so perfectly with the republished 2025 HUD maps targeting:
* Eastern Kendall County
* HWY 46 corridor
* Bulverde-Spring Branch area
* Smithson Valley High School zone
The infrastructure push is real. And without ESDs, HUD's Section 8 expansion can’t move forward. That’s not speculation – that’s federal policy.
Is this why the Bergheim FD Board is pushing so hard? To be the linchpin in a plan that would transform our quiet, rural communities into overpopulated, subsidized zones – complete with retail chains and high-density apartments?
The Uncomfortable Truth:
Section 8 and “Affordable Housing” developers need:
* Fire protection (ESDs)
* Water
* Zoning changes
* ETJ expansions
* And a complicit or clueless public.
You are NOT being told the whole story.
This isn't about protecting homes from fire. It’s about enabling the infrastructure necessary to support low-income, taxpayer-funded housing that will forever change the culture, schools, and safety of our community.
Want to know who benefits? Look into Pedcor Investments and Jean Latsha. Look at how she lobbied the Texas Bond Review Board – where her husband just happens to be the Executive Director – to rewrite the laws that make all this funding possible.
And why hasn’t Governor Abbott or Attorney General Ken Paxton done anything about it? Because they know – and they’ve chosen to do nothing.
💥 NO to the ESD.💥 NO to Eternal Sucker Drain.💥 YES to preserving Kendall County.
Let your voice be heard. Before your community is sold out from underneath you.
