🎃 Safety Reminder! 👻
We would like to remind our community to stay alert and stay safe by releasing the 2025 “DO NOT 🚫 TRICK OR TREAT” list in compliance with the Texas S*x Offender Registry (https://sor.dps.texas.gov).

Please review the following addresses before heading out for trick-or-treating, and keep the following in mind:
1. These addresses should not participate in any Halloween festivities.
2. The individuals are not currently under investigation, but any information regarding non-compliance with the s*x offender registry may be sent to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office.

🎃Halloween Safety Tips:
· Stick to well-lit areas
· Travel in groups
· Inspect all candy before eating
· Report suspicious activity to Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office

Life Celebration Service: Saturday 4/26/25 11am at New Faith Church 2412 N. Walnut Dr Wharton, with same-day visitation at 10am for Willie Fisher, III.
Willie, 34, of Wharton born was Dec 31, 1990 to Kathy and Willie Fisher, Jr in Fort Sam Houston San Antonio, TX. He suddenly departed this life on Sunday April 13, 2025.
He was full of life, loved life & loved his family and he will truly be missed. Following his Life Celebration service, he will be laid to rest at Powell Point Cemetery in Kendleton, TX. Most precious memories entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home of Wharton 979.532.2715.

Mrs. Lena was loved in our community and will be missed by many. Our sincerest condolences and prayers are with her family as they mourn her passing.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Verdell's family during this difficult loss. She was a beautiful person who was always willing to volunteer her time in helping others.

Vert Dell Williams Greer "Verdell" 63, a native of Kendleton, TX born Nov 2,1961 to Henry and Beatrice McCullough Williams, departed this life Jan 30, 2025.

Her visitation will be Fri Feb 7th 2-7 pm at Matthews Funeral Home. Verdell's celebratory service will be Sat Feb 8th 3pm at Newman Chapel UMC 14 Lum Rd Kendleton TX. Interment Paradise Cemetery Kendleton. Most precious memories entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home of Wharton 979-532-2715.
