Oh the patience!!! Some days I get so frustrated. What am I doing wrong? We are working so hard. I must not be doing enough. But I take a breath and remind myself, EVERY child is different. Every child has their own timeline. So I’m going to throw away the standard milestone chart, I’m going to be patient, and I’m going to get myself a back brace 😂

Our first family camping trip! And we made it a big one. A 4hr ferry ride across Lake Michigan on the SS Badger and then 6 days of road tripping thru the Upper Peninsula at 3 different campsites. We climbed sand dunes, chased waterfalls, froze in the lake, and roasted way too many marshmallows! It was colder, wetter and way more work than expected but we had all the right gear, stayed dry, and I don’t even think anyone got a mosquito bite!) 🏕️ Already planning our next adventure!

I was so nervous about having another baby after Millie. My pregnancy with Millie was traumatic, and although I wouldn’t change a thing about Millie and who she is, I had so much fear for the health of our third baby, among many other things (how a new baby would fit in our current dynamic, whether I’d have enough energy for another baby, how it would affect Millie and so on). There were so many unknowns and moments of doubt. But despite the fear, we decided to grow our family and held onto the hope that it was the right choice. Now, watching Millie blossom into her role as a big sister and us all falling in love with Cozi’s infectious personality, I know this was all meant to be.

Summer is officially here!! ☀️

Wow 🥹🥹 my babies! Where has the time gone. Both Millie and Georgi have grown so much this year (and Cozi too!). I’m so proud of their desire to learn, their curiosity, and all they’ve accomplished.

We’ve got a fun filled Summer ahead - family camping trips, time at the beach/lake, and allll the activities (maybe a little too many activities).

Georgi is signed up for softball, soccer camp, dance camp, “Gaga camp” ☺️, swim lessons and more!

Millie will be continuing speech therapy and some OT sessions plus she’s signed up for a dance camp and even a sports camp!

And Cozi? She’s just along for the ride…living her best toddler life.

Can’t wait to soak up this Summer with my girls. Stay tuned for all the summer fun ☀️🌸
