Women's empowerment workshop in Kennebunk

KENNEBUNK — A women’s leadership and empowerment workshop led by former law enforcement officer Autumn Schmidt is set to take place July 24 at the Spaulding Center in Kennebunk.

The event, hosted by She’s An Asset, offers a three-hour, in-person training designed to help women build confidence, set boundaries, and develop real-world safety strategies.

Founded by Schmidt, She’s An Asset blends mindset coaching, body language awareness, and leadership development to help participants shift from “easy target” to “hard target.” The program emphasizes self-trust, presence, and the belief that women’s voices and boundaries matter.

“Women leave this training different,” Schmidt says. “They speak differently. Stand differently. And most importantly, they finally believe they’re worth protecting.”

The workshop runs from 5 to 8 p.m. and is open to women of all backgrounds. Tickets and more information are available at shesanasset.com.
