Hear directly from Mayra Pineda, President & CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana, as she shares insights from the 2026 Trade Mission to San Salvador, El Salvador and Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

This mission brought together leaders from across Louisiana—state and city government, Louisiana Economic Development (LED), the City of New Orleans, Deputy Mayor Dr. Jenny Mains , Ochsner Health , University of New Orleans, University of Holy Cross , CRC Global Solutions, Televizion, Telemundo 42 , and Gulf Coast Bank & Trust—all working toward one goal:

Strengthening international partnerships and opening new doors for economic growth.

From high-level meetings with government and private sector leaders to the renewal of the Sister Cities Agreement with Tegucigalpa, this trip wasn’t just about conversations—it was about building lasting relationships that position Louisiana as a global gateway for trade, investment, healthcare, education, and innovation and the powerhouse of mass communication through Televizion.
