Is Kentucky Lake BACK!? The MLF BPT is through one period at the once great Kentucky Lake and local favorite Jake Lawrence has amassed 58lbs already, BUT he's not even leading, he is still behind Justin Lucas, who has 64 pounds in period one. 6 anglers have over 40 pounds in one period, and the lake is showing off. Are we seeing Kentucky Lake making a massive come back?

Matteo Turano wins the BFL All-American on Lake Hamilton! Turano finished with 56-11, a narrow victory over 2nd place Tanner Hadden with 53-7. Scott Standafer won the co-angler division and $50,000 with a 28 pound total bag! Awesome event and congrats to the winners!

🚨 BREAKING! 🚨
Bassmaster and Major League Fishing have announced a 'Ryder Cup' style super tournament for March 2026, named the Rivals Cup. The top ten anglers in points from both BASS and MLF will participate in a team-style 3 day tournament on Lake Fork. Each angler will fish alone, with all weight counting towards a team total.
- Day 1 will be a 5 fish limit weigh-in, the team with the most cumulative weight will be awarded 1 point.
- Day 2 will be catch, weigh, release with every fish counts. Team with the most cumulative weight will be awarded 1 point.
-First team to 2 points wins the tournament
-In the event of a 1 to 1 tie, day 3 will serve as a sudden death round, each angler will keep only their biggest fish, and big fish of the day will win the final point for their team.

BASS and MLF will both provide TV coverage and their respective sites, and a live YouTube stream provided by BassFan and will be hosted by an angler from each tour.

BassFan, a publication of KSE Sportsman Media, Inc. went live in July 2001. BassFan.com provides the world's premier daily coverage of professional bass tournaments as well select "amateur" tournaments and bass-specific news and features. It's the home of the popular BassFan World Rankings and is widely regarded as the publication of record for the sport of bass fishing and the bass-fishing industry.

John Johnson is BassFan's senior editor. He came to the company in 2005 with 18 years of sports journalism experience, including stints as sports editor at three California daily newspapers, and has won awards from the Associated Press Sports Editors and other organizations. He's covered conventional sports at every level, from high school to the World Series, NFL playoffs and golf's U.S. Open. He's a lifelong bass fisherman and also is a big-time bird-hunter and competitive shotgunner.
