Sounds like the Ultimate Anglers Championship is returning to Lake Guntersville in the fall of 2026.

With both the Elite Series and Bass Pro Tour making stops there early in the year in addition to a Toyota Series event and countless other derbies, wouldn’t it make sense to choose a different venue in year 2? Guntersville is an awesome lake but isn’t there a risk of watering down the event if it’s at the same venue each year?

John Johnson is BassFan's senior editor. He came to the company in 2005 with 18 years of sports journalism experience, including stints as sports editor at three California daily newspapers, and has won awards from the Associated Press Sports Editors and other organizations.
