This past weekend, President Joe Anderson, Vice President Peyton Newcomb, and Chapter Advisor Alex Hughes attended 2026 Karnea in Phoenix, Arizona

The weekend was filled with leadership, brotherhood, and opportunities to connect with Delta Tau Delta chapters from across the country. We are especially proud to celebrate Alex Hughes, who was honored with the William J. Fraering Award for his outstanding dedication and service to Delta Tau Delta.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to represent Iota at Karnea and bring home new ideas, memories, and inspiration for the year ahead.

Delt advisor spotlight: Alex Hughes

Alex serves as Iota Thetas chapter advisor and has been working with us since 2023. All of his hard work and dedication has benefited this chapter in so many ways and we appreciate his contributions to Delta Tau Delta.

Here’s some words from Alex about his experience
“There isn’t one specific memory that’s my favorite, it’s the growth I get to witness and foster. Both the growth of the chapter and the brothers themselves. As an advisor you often see the potential in the guys before they recognize it themselves. The part in our Creed that says “…for the education of youth and the inspiration of maturity.” is very accurate and it’s one of the reasons I give my time.”
