We have a tornado signature just south of Annapolis, Maryland, moving east towards the Chesapeake. Hopefully when the storm cell gets to the other side, we won't be seeing more of that

Good morning! Here’s your end-of-week and holiday weekend Frank-U-Weather forecast for the unofficial last weekend of summer! ☀️🌡️⛈️☀️☀️☀️

We’re starting things off with more heat and humidity as we make our way toward the weekend.

Between today and Friday, temperatures will be hanging out in the upper 80s to low 90s, but the bigger issue is going to be the heat index. We’re under a Heat Advisory, with feels-like temperatures climbing into the 100s.

Oh...and what’s that? The chance for MORE storms?

This weatherman is officially calling for mercy at this point!

Just like the last few rounds, some of these storms could become severe, so we’ll keep an eye on things and keep everyone posted as the forecast develops.

Now...to the part everyone has been waiting for.

What does the holiday weekend look like?

It’s going to be...

A...MAZE...ING!!! ☀️

We’re talking sunshine. We’re talking comfortable temperatures. We’re talking about summer going out in style.

All weekend long, expect temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s. That’s just about perfect for swimming, hiking, heading to the beach, firing up the grill with friends, or finding a shady tree and disappearing into a good book.

This is one of those weekends where you really should get outside and do something.

So go! Find something fun, enjoy the weather, and give summer the send-off it deserves.
