grooveKSq is pleased to announce that Ruth Clark has joined our Faculty! Ruth is currently the band teacher at Kennett Middle School and has experience teaching at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Her goal is to inspire students to love playing their instrument and continually strive to improve.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from West Chester University, where she performed as a percussionist in multiple ensembles, including the Percussion Ensemble and Steel Drum Ensemble. Ruth truly enjoys being a percussionist and continues to perform in various community bands, jazz ensembles, and high school musicals.

Ruth joins Bryan Tuk, Dan Ciccone and Paco Samb as grooveKSq grows into the largest independent percussion studio in Pennsylvania.

Sometimes you are so busy running the day to day details of a small business that you don’t always see the big picture - or an anniversary!

The studio opened its doors on October 1, 2018 and is going strong! Many thanks to the students and families who support this studio and I am very much looking forward to the next 7 years at least!!
