Hey there, Plastic Chasers! Karl here with the story of Blueberry, The Forgotten Carnival Prize. I first stumbled upon her at a Janesville antique store a few years ago. Although she was only $5, Barb and I decided it wasn't the right time to bring her home. Roughly, a year later we visited the same store again. And there she was. Lonely and forgotten. I struggled with leaving her behind again. But Barb and I made a deal. If she is there the next time we return, I have the okay to adopt her. A few days ago, we again visited said store, and as we shopped the many booths, I would be lying if I said I wasn't thinking of my potential prize. I remembered where she resided on the 2nd floor. As I made my way to her last known position, I was greeted by Barb. Looking at me the way she does, knowing a potential wild find is not far. So, today Blueberry has a new home. Maybe not my winning prize from some long forgotten carnival, but a prize nonetheless. 😀
