A darkly disturbing and bloody black comedy, you'll laugh and be grossed out in equal measure. In my opinion, the best King adaptation since 2017.

If you follow my personal page or know me personally, you'll know that I've called this my most anticipated film of the year if not of the decade. I was 7 years old when I first saw Mernau's original masterpiece and it started to to craft a lifelong obsession with Gothic Horror. Every expectation I had was met and surpassed.

A beautiful, haunting experience with some of the best performances that has graced the silver screen all year. Helmed by the best horror director working today. You won't be able to take your eyes off of the screen for the entire 2hr run time.

A genuine full blown Horror Masterpiece and fully deserving of my "Film of The Year" title

and give Lilly Rose-Depp the Oscar, she freaking deserves it

Life's been kinda crazy recently so I apologize for the lack of content. To make up for it, since I have the ability to, I will be taking the week of Christmas off to get caught up on films that I've missed this year either due to illness or other reasons as well as films that I've been meaning to watch but havent for a number of reasons. The plan is for there to be full reviews for most of these at some point during or after Christmas Week so keep an eye out for reviews either long form or in short sentences for

Alien Romulus

Your Monster

Smile 2

Lisa Frankenstein

Ma###ine

Twisters

Inside Out 2

Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare

Hit Man

Anora

Once Upon In Hollywood

Jurassic World: Dominion

Nosferatu both the 1922 and 2024 versions

and finally The Goonies!!!!

It's become an accidental tradition of seeing the new Transformers movie in theaters twice and if they keep up the quality, I can see this becoming a longstanding tradition going forward.

From a movie I was hesitant about, to potentially my favorite animated movie of all time. Transformers: One goes above and beyond as the first animated film in the franchise since the original traumatized an entire generation back in 1985.

Taking place in an Era of cybertron essentially untold we see the origins of Orion Pax and D-16 as friends and the events that led to them taking on the roles of savior and destroyer they are destined to fill.

A non-stop ride full of heart, thrills, action and some incredibly humors moments this is a film that I recommend to anyone whether your a lifelong fan, someone just discovering this incredible franchise or anywhere in between, I almost guarantee your gonna have a hell of a time.

TILL ALL ARE ONE!!!!!!

I've been waiting for this!!!

If you know me or if you follow my personal page, then you'll know that I haven't shut up about this show since the second it premiered. As a fan of the X-Men for longer than I can remember, this show gets everything, and I mean everything right about Marvel's favorite punching bags/outcasts/found family.

Starting 6 months after the end of the original series, X-Men'97 finds our favorite children of the atom in a cenerio that hasn't been covered outside the comics, Professor X has died and Magneto now leads the X-Men. Starting from there, it hooks you and it doesn't let go.

Chock full of some of the best action scenes ever put to screen in western animation, incredible acting from the entire cast, "Rogue's and Cyclops's voices actors deserve Emmys" and for my money one of the most heartbreaking moments ever done in western animation.

X-Men'97 is a bonafide masterpiece, a reminder as to why Marvel is the biggest media franchise in the world, and that sometimes a reboot can outshine the original.

If it's not in your watchlist, add it. If it is, move it up.

This is a show that needs to be watched by anyone who calls themselves a Marvel fan, trust me you won't be disappointed but you're gonna need tissues.

Honestly, I can't begin to explain how much fun this movie is.

I will say that I don't remember having this much fun with a film in a very long time. A romantic action comedy that shows love to the stuntman of the world, where every single member of the cast is at the top of their game, with Blunt and Gosling having chemistry so scintillating, it needs to be seen to be believed. A true genuine reminder of how fun the movies can be and I do truly believe that it should be seen by all.

If you know me, you'll know that I've been singing the praises of Radio Silence since I first saw Ready or Not back in 2019, and when I heard that their first post-scream film was gonna be a movie about a vampire ballerina, to say my curiosity was peeked would be understatement and it immediately flew up my most anticipated release list.

Following a group of kidnappers whose simple job takes a dark turn into a fight for survival when the girl they kidnapped turns out to be an actual vampire.

With stellar acting from Melissa Barrera and Dan Stevens, Katherine Newton who's slow growth as a modern day Scream queen has a pleasure to watch, as well as a memorable final role from the late Angus Cloud, an a oceans worth of blood spilled and one of the funniest jump scares in recent memory.

It's Radio Silence at their absolute best and a fine addition to anyone's watchlist or collection for any time of year.

The goosebumps started 10 minutes in and didn't stop for 2 1/2 hours.

Long believed to be unfilmable due to the grand scale of such an incredible story, Dune: Part 2 is a reminder of why I love the movies. Haunting, visceral, gorgeous and proof that "Unfilmable" might just be a phrase. Even if we don't see the rumored adaptation of "Dune: Messiah" I fully believe that Dune parts 1 & 2 will go down as not only a modern day masterpiece but one of the greatest Science Fiction films of all time.

My first anticipated film of the year, and the latest film from the absolute madman behind the Kingsman franchise.

A spy thriller/comedy full of incredible performances including Sam Rockwell at his best, more twists and turns then an Agatha Christie novel, some of the funniest set pieces that I've ever seen and an end credit scene that makes me absolutely giddy for a sequel, if your looking for a fun time at the movies then I can't recommend it enough!!

The Bigger The Spy, The Bigger The Lie

Apologize for this being late but I was fortunate to attend an advanced screening of this last Wednesday and I've been taking the past few days for my heart to heal itself, so here goes.

If you know me, you'll know of my love for the crazy, stupid sport known as professional wrestling and all the drama, passion and heartache that comes along with it, so when I found out that A24, the production company behind some of my favorite films of the past few years was producing a biopic based on The Von Erichs, who are widely considered the most cursed family in wrestling history to say my interest was peaked would be the understatement of the century.

Staring Zac Efron in what I truly believe may be the best performance in his entire career as Kevin Von Erich the 2nd oldest Von Erich and the only one to unfortunately still be with is today it chronicles the rise and complete devastation of a wrestling dynasty. Full of all the heart, drama and absolute soul destroying moments that you'd expect from a retelling of this story this is a film that I see myself going back to if I ever feel the need to destroy my soul. I can't recommend this movie enough.
