Nobody should ever have more wealth than could be earned by working for one thousand years at minimum wage. Right now in the United States, that would be about 15 million dollars.

I allow myself to "Walter Mitty" with synchronicity sometimes, and the idea of divine intervention in the form of separating this post's author from "CyberSamsara" via interference with his social media page gets slightly more than 10% acceptable to me if I posit that we've been painting the walls with the Gospel of Uncle Benjamin for longer than computer driven algorhythmically generated content has existed in the meatspace subset of reality.

Neurodivergent spontaneous insight is oft considered to come from the individual's heightened sense of pattern recognition. We've been teaching pattern recognition to computers since Netflix / last.fm / Pandora recommendations.

Factor in the hot mic in your pocket at all times. If I can get a targeted ad for jobs as a substance abuse counselor immediately after having a gentle conversation with a friend about maybe their consumption getting excessive all the way back in 2015, of course this person can lose their page during a spiritual experiment just to make sure that the result of the experiment still contains at least a mote of quantum essence.

I had a friend in high school who was gifted with words. He once convinced a classmate that an apple would make her fat, to the point that she handed over the apple. He promptly ate the apple, of course. The point is that from a cybersecurity perspective, the human mind is astonishingly vulnerable. Progress in a forward direction has always been driven by the exceptions, but on average our species is FAR too gullible for a world which includes both marketing, and this "Mad Lib" technology that we're calling AI. We are not at all prepared for kind words from the magic 8 ball to feel this good.

Dan Carlin has been my favorite history podcaster for about a decade now.

Not only is he correct, but if you have doubts, there are hundreds of hours of material out there where he explains everything you need to know to understand this.
