NYC in my heart, LA backlot in my roots, this little car in my soul.
This photo captures so much about who I am.
My career started on these LA backlots, where I cut my teeth in production at the bottom of the ladder.
New York was the next level. The energy, the pace. I didn’t have a grand plan beyond staying curious and following my gut. New York gave me a foundation – creatively and personally – that shaped my entire career. It was a huge risk and demanded sacrifice, but it gave me a confidence you gain only by surviving the trenches.
This little car captures my connection to design, mechanics, Porsche culture and a handful of close friends.
The colors, shadows, light, textures and energy in this photograph encompasses so much for me.
This moment was at Luft on the backlot at Universal, captured by my compadre Neal Lett . All this made even more sweet that my wife and daughter were on the lot at the event with me.
