I’ve been hearing from a lot of people this year that are going through all kinds of issues loss of family, loss of friends, loss of love, health issues, financial issues. And although this is not a Christmas song, it’s a song of hope for me. I recorded it because it was one of my father‘s favorite songs. I just thought maybe it would help some people if they listen to it and realize that there is hope, that it’s not all as terrible as it looks. I am grateful that I have music that I can lean on…to inspire me and make me feel something. I want to thank my friends Buddy Hyatt, the band, including Brent Mason on guitar, amazing strings by David Diggs, mixing with Kevin Fisher, and beautiful video footage by Tommy Snider. I hope this reaches some of you that need to be inspired. It’s a Rogers and Hammerstein song from the musical “Carousel”, first introduced to be by my dad and mom way back in the day. i’m grateful to have God and friends in my life. Steven McClintock

How cool is this!! Jim Moore, from The Animal Band, just finished up a video, really sweet one, of a song we wrote back in 1997 called. “She’s Always There For Me”. He released it on his 2012 “Jungle All the Way” record.
It’s how he and I envisioned Santa Claus would’ve thought or thinks about his wife…Mrs. Claus. We only wrote one day but we wrote two songs that day and both of them were very cool and fun. I’m grateful that after all these years he decided to spend the time to put this video together. I don’t know that there has ever been another song about this subject written, maybe there has been…but neither of us know of it. My friend and co-writer, Michael Peterson, will be reliving/performing his 90s hits in Alabama for an upcoming February show featuring the best of 90s country. You’re not gonna believe this lineup!  A year before Covid took us down, we made a beautiful record coproduced by myself, Billy Yates and Michael Peterson where we cut four of his past Big hits along with some classics he was performing at that time in Branson Missouri.  We tracked this in Nashville, I did most of the edits in San Pedro, California, i mixed back in Nashville, and we did the videos in Las Vegas, Nevada.(Ray Allaire) Great fun, great time, creative as heck… I loved it. This video has over 90,000 plus views and we never even got to get on the road with it. That shows the power of a quality singer and a quality song! I’m always so proud of this man who has proven time and time again what and who he is!
