The 116th Annual Keswick Horse Show

It was an honor to have Snookie Wawner in the ring last night as the Big John Trophy was retired. The trophy was named after Snookie’s horse Big John, who was his faithful partner during his years as field master for Keswick Hunt Club. We hope to see you all at Snookie’s fish fry after the show today!

Reminding!! SPARC of Hope Walk this Saturday, October 24, 2015
The 1st Annual SPARC (The Suicide Prevention Awareness & Resource Council of Hope Walk) to be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at East End Farm in Green Springs, Louisa County.
SPARC members (and sisters) Robin Durkin and Cailin Collier organized a similar walk last year in which more than 300 people participated and more than $52,000 in donations were raised. Durkin and Collier are just as excited and involved in the planning and organization of the SPARC of Hope Walk and are the acting SPARC of Hope Walk Co-Chairs.
“We are excited this year to have partnered with Region Ten [and other SPARC partners] so that all of the money raised will stay in our area.
100% of proceeds raised will be used to continue ongoing suicide prevention efforts in Charlottesville, Albemarle, Louisa, Nelson, Fluvanna, and Green Counties.

CONGRATS!!..Another "Coleman" wins!!!!.Will Coleman and the Conair Syndicate's Tight Lines have won the CCI2* at The Dutta Corporation Fair Hill International!!Will laid down a flawless round under immense pressure — he had not one rail to spare to clinch the win— to take home the spoils in the Dutta Corp Fair Hill International. The 8-year-old gelding owned by the Conair Syndicate laid down the gauntlet in the dressage, earning a 42.5 to take the lead and never let it go.

BRAVO!!! In search of the Best Field Hunter In North America , the Theodora A. Randolph Field Hunter Championship final was held in Middleburg, Virginia on Saturday, October 10th. Founded in 1989, this event brings together fox hunting enthusiasts from all across the U.S. and Canada to participate in the week long trial. Mounted judges ride alongside the numbered contestants as they hunt with four area Fox Hunts. At the end of each day's hunting, the judges announce the horse and rider combinations selected to compete in the finals held Saturday at Glenwood Park. Emerging victorious was Will Coleman from the Keswick Hunt.
