First phase of Woodland Palace renovation to begin

Kewanee Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Mark Mikenas said Monday that the group has received many donations from individuals and the proceeds of a book written by Larry Kuster on Fred Francis who he calls “A Prairie State Genius.”

The Kewanee Park District v. city of Kewanee: One more time for those in the back!

Invariably when the park district takes on a large and pricey project, as they are doing now with the reimagining of the clubhouse, several people will comment on social media under the post about how we need to focus those millions of dollars on roads and not on frivolous things like an awesome new place for the community and golfers to gather."
