My first attempt at making fake hot chocolate mugs. Didn't realize I needed to put instructions on how I made these cute mugs. It's my 1st post on here. Instructions: I used mugs from dollar tree. I painted the inside of the mug with brown acrylic paint it will take 2 or 3 coats of paint to cover the inside of the mug. You can add something inside the mug to weigh it down I just used styroform inside my mugs then added styrofoam to the top of the mug to make a flat surface and used a icing bag and icing tip to pipe on white lightweight spackling for whipped topping. For the finishing touchs I added on the sprinkles and embellishments to the top of the mugs.

Christmas is out at dollar tree! I made this a few years ago and even though I make a new one every year to give away this one is still my favorite and went viral in another group.
Everything used is from the dollar tree. it’s a large gift bag and four 5x7 photo frames. I glued the frames together and added popsicle sticks to the back of the frames for extra support so they didn’t bend where glued. Then I put the frames on top of the bag and traced around it with a pencil. I cut the bag a little smaller than where the pencil line was so it wasn’t showing past the frame. I then glued the bag to foam poster board so the back wasn’t just the paper. Once the bag was glued to foam board I used a box cutter and cut the foam board around the bag. I attached that to the frames. I didn’t like the brown frames so I painted them white and while the paint was wet I took a paper towel to them to give them a distressed look. I used modge podge and faux snow from the dollar tree for the snow under each pane. Then I added the foam snowflake in the center and the pin embellishment to the corner. Both of those were also from dollar tree. The ribbon holding it up was actually from the bag. I glued that to the back of the foam board

Made this letter wit munchies for my son, for his 16th birthday 🎂 🥳

Letter J size is 17in across and 20in dwn.
I used a exacto knife, a square cuttin mat, and the thick foam poster boards that you can get from $tree. I traced the letter using my TV, then traced it on the foam board to cut out. then you decide how tall you want the sides to be (mine was 1⅓ea) and start cutting pieces of the left over foam board out then use glue to glue standing upright onto the flat letter you created earlier make sure to glue so it stands up then glue the side to the next piece to link them side by side. You can color the sides before glue or after. Then fill with shredded packing crinkles and snacks then hot glue edges to put wrap as tight as u can. I added the popsicle sticks to give it a clear look. Can paint it to any color u like. 😊

My version…Update to include instructions.
All items bought at DT...
3 glass candlestick holders
2 dessert glasses (about 3 ins tall, comes in a 3 pack)
3 candy jars
Glued with glue stick the dessert glass to the candlestick holder (makes 2 of them taller)
I spray painted the posts (candle holders, dessert glasses) and the lids of the candy jars.
I glued the candy jars to the posts
The embellishments are
pre-made bows (I can't make bows)
cedar picks
flowers
pack of red berries
I used Krylon Gloss Red Banner spray paint

This is a gift bag from Dollar tree. I used a sewing needle to poke holes in the 2 trees then put fairy lights on the back where I put the holes. Then I put it in an old frame that I had. The battery pack is hidden behind the greenery on top.

Made a tier tray from all DT products except the paint. Used Waverly chalk paint on pie pan, cake pan, charger plate and glass candle stick holder. A little black paint to distress and glued together. Cost me less than $10 to make and love decorating it for each holiday and season!

A spring wreath I just made for our front door. I just love it. I used mostly Dollar Tree items. (I bent the heart wreath form to create the ears)
Dollar Tree: one beaded heart wreath for the ears, one circle beaded wreath, greenery, off white mums, mod podge matte, jute rope, wreath hanger and other floral picks.
