We had collected dollar bills on our walls for a couple of years, and last year we took them down. The intent was to create a coffee table book to sell to raise money for the Florida Keys SPCA. We were also going to donate the over $4000 in bills directly to the charity.
Unfortunately, in the last month, the money has turned up missing, from a secure location. There are only a few people who had access to it and/or even knew where it was. We would please ask everyone to keep their eyes out for cash that is being used that has writing on it, especially those who work at banks or other bars.
This saddens us deeply because we could have raised tens of thousands of dollars with this money to help the animals in need, but some nefarious person or persons decided to steal it and deprive us of that opportunity.
Please share far and wide and let's catch our thief and get our money returned to is. If you know something, hear something or see something, please come forward. You may stay anonymous. We will also provide a reward leading to the recovery of this money. Ben Hennington please share.
