2024 Cow Wars - Cow Key 0-k Bridge Race
Line up of the big event:
First we shall "Corral" the herd at the Gates Hotel/Rum Row/Sunset Green for FREE Parking!
9:00am-11:00 AM - Bloody "Mooey" party at Rum Row Bar. Special Deals on Bloody Mary's and Mimosas. Because you must Hydrate before a Marathon...
(Don't worry it's all part of our training for the Zero -K)
You may also get your Packet pick up, and/or do an onsite sign up.
Also the human public's first crack at the 2024 "Limited Edition" Leap Year 2024 0-k Race T-Shirts with Art by David Sloan.
11 AM to 12 PM - We All Moove the Herd over to the starting area, in front of Cow Key Channel Bridge on the Key West side. US1 - N
Our local Radio station KeyWest.FM - will be hosting the Starting Line, and there will be an "on site sign up", some bling Moo bling & swag. Our judges from the Coconut Castaways will be Perusing the Pastures and Looking for our "Big Heffer" Winners!Come Meet our "Special Guest Charity Star" Sheriff Jeanne Selander from the MCSO Animal Farm/Petting Zoo and photo ops with Princess "Peanut", and more!
..and right smack in the middle of the bridge will be our sponsors from The Green Parrot will host a Hydration Station!
As usual. LATER IN THE 0-K route the "Hydration Angels" will mist you all down, because a Zero-K is grueling, for people that don't exercise...
The Finish LINE - Will be Hosted by Tiki Man Radio and the Conch Republic Aerospace Program, along with Key West Legal Rum Distillery, offering an adult refreshment for the winners!

Cows away! Let the Shenanigan COW Wars Begin!!
We start with an Opening Ceremony Promenade over the Cow Key Bridge by Sir C.W. C**t Just like 4 years ago with his blue "Conch Republic Staff Car" like Sir Peter did last leap year, With the official Conch Republic Staff Car - (Just like Sir Peter Aderson did 11 years ago at the first race, and Sheriff Jeanne and the Princess will Cross the Bridge!
Everyone is welcome to join.
Then the Bovine Heats shall Begin... 1- WARP SPEED - Fastest Heat
2- TIMED TRAVELERS AWARD - relay teams
3- FAMILY HERD - youngest and the oldest as One Human Family Free for all4- HANS & CHEWBACCA AWARD - Pets & People
5- Mo The Sloth Heat - Slowest across the Bridge
1 PM - Race ends - Then A Group Photo Shoot at the Cow Key Bridge before the group begins making their way back to "Sunset Green Pastures" for the upcoming "Udderly Ridiculous" awards ceremony.
1 PM to 1:30 PM - We Begin the "First in a Leap Year Awards Ceremony" Festivities at the Sunset Green/Rum Row/Gates Hotel/Keys Collective
