Key West lost one of our great ones with the passing of Key West City Commissioner Mary Lou Hoover. Mary Lou’s represented my District (Jack Smith) and she made one of her first official duties to fulfill a promise she made to me when I asked her to rehab the bike path along Atlantic Avenue with new payment with biodegradable doggie waste bags & waste containers. And she did! All the way from the Atlantic to Higgs Beach. Rest easy Mary Lou and know you were loved by thousands! We’ll never forget you. ❤️💔🙏
