Meet Pinky a 3 year old Chihuahua/Blue Heeler mix weighing in at just 12 lbs. Pinky gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is very treat motivated, loves to play, loves car rides and boating, absolutely loves her walks, is housebroken and once she feels safe with you, she is incredibly loving and affectionate! She may take time to warm up but once she trusts you she’s the most sweetest and loving girl! Pinky is worth the time, worth the patience and worth the wait. Chico is the Pirate radio dog person of the week! Chico is a 6 year old Corgi mix who is the perfect combination of playful, loving and downright adorable!
Chico is one of those special dogs who instantly makes you feel loved. He is exceptionally sweet and affectionate with people always ready to give kisses and share his big heart with everyone he meets.
This handsome boy loves playtime, toys and games, but he’s just as happy curling up under a cozy blanket for a good snuggle session. Belly rubs are definitely one of his favorite things and he’ll happily remind you when it’s time for some extra love!

Chico enjoys walks, outdoor adventures and spending time with his people. He does well with kids and gets along with most other dogs, making him a wonderful companion for many types of families.

At 6 years old, Chico is the perfect balance, he still has plenty of playful energy, but he also knows how to slow down and enjoy the simple joys of life: a comfy blanket, a loving family and a place to call home.

Meet Peegrum! This senior guy is 11 years old, but you would never know it with his big heart and an even bigger personality. This friendly, happy guy loves meeting new people and is always ready to brighten someone’s day with his cheerful spirit! He’s often described as having a “jolly old soul”
Peegrum has Addison’s Disease, which is managed with a monthly injection and he doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. He still enjoys life, loves spending time with people and has plenty of love to give.

Taz is the Pirate radio dog person of the week! Taz is a lovable 10 year old senior. He’s a sweet, easy going boy who loves comfy beds, toys and spending time with people. Pluto Potato also known as Spud is non the hunt for his forever sofa! Pluto is around 6 years old and is a basset hound mix weighing around 72 lbs. He’s a big, sweet boy who loves toys, belly rubs, naps and soaking up love from his humans. He was found in a Jacksonville shelter and had been hit by a car but his owners had no intention of coming to get him. He’s up to date on vaccines, neutered and heartworm negatively. Pluto is potty trained and while he walks fine on a leash, he is a little lazy and not very motivated to go on walks. Pluto is not food aggressive, but is food motivated. He’s currently being fostered with 2 other dogs and gets along well with one they even share food and water bowls! He’s also not you aggressive and shares nicely but he will steal a treat without shame! With that said, he is very polite and gentle when taking a treat. He is crate trained and does well with people, he’s indifferent to cats and gets along with most other dogs. He would be best with older kids and loves attention! Meet Lana a 5 year old mountain cur who’s been waiting far too long for her happily ever after. She loves people, adores squeaky toys, treats, car rides, lounging on the couch and walks. Lana would do best as the only pet in the home and it’s also recommended that she goes to a home with adults and older dog-savvy children.
