I’m reminded again of how connected Chicago & the Florida Keys are…☺️

Meet Kerry, director of private events at 🪩 I met Kerry in December of 2022 when she was working at I was setting up for a wedding and she mentioned that she’s from Chicago but was in the Keys for the season.

I told her that I was planning on splitting my time between Key West & Chicago and she said to reach out when I make my way up north. Summer of 2023 is when I made my way up to Chicago and Kerry was the first person I reached out to.

She started inviting me to networking events and fast forward to today, we’re working a wedding reception together at the iconic Celeste Disco room!  You don’t realize it until you live it, but Chicago does have a really special small-town community feel and I am grateful for our connection and being on her VIP vendor list :)

If you’re getting married in Chicago, Celeste is def worth considering. There are multiple floors and each one has its own unique vibe. They take care of catering and because it’s already well decorated, you don’t have to worry about bringing in decor!

The Florida Keys & Key West wedding and private event season is about to begin but that doesn't mean I'm leaving ya hangin', Chicago!

Soon you'll be seeing stories of me all bundled up while partying in Chicago, or mildly glistening 😆 while under some palm trees in Key West.

Now is the time I start using all of my flight points to get me to where I need to be to celebrate with you on your big day.

Taking their love for boating & fishing and incorporating it into their wedding 👌

C & J asked us to provide DJ service for their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, as well as a portrait artist at their Key West wedding at Ocean's Edge Resort & Marina.

What's so great about our portrait artist is that all of your guests have a gift to take back home with them that is both handmade and unique to the Keys. Sean is famously known for his 5-min portrait sessions down at Mallory Square and grateful to have him a part of our team for private events.

Will there be kids at your private event? Let's make it a memorable experience for them, too!

This little guy was giving me those, "hey, can I try" eyes, so I couldn't help but get him behind the DJ booth and make him feeling like a superstar. I showed him what button press and once I got everyone cheering for him, he hit that button with so much confidence and stole the show.

It's moments like these that we remember and cherish 😊

DJ & Steel Drum combo: Perfect for those Caribbean themed parties 🦩

When hosting an event, consider the vibe you are going for and base your entertainment off of that. Could I have pulled off this event as just the DJ? Of course, but adding in a steel drum adds an elevated experience that defines the sounds of the Caribbean!

Little did I know, an hour into this corporate event, a storm bringing 52mph winds was going to blow my DJ booth away from me. I caught it just before it fell over.

We managed to bring the party inside within 20min cause we’re all a bunch of pros and this ain’t our first outdoor rodeo 🤠

Thanks for your help bringing my gear inside 110 Wacker team! 🙌

Chicago and Key West seem to share similar wild weather patterns. Get it together you two!

Another incredible night cruising down the Chicago River with some of the best event pros & concierges in the industry! This time we added karaoke and quickly learned that this rig will have a permanent spot on the yacht from now on 😎

And what a perfect surprise it was to bring out TracyB_Sax. His performance on the top deck was top notch!

Huge thanks to everyone who I had to convince really hard to come join me on this 55' Prestige luxury yacht experience 😆

It's a great honor to have been a part of two of this family’s weddings. First one was in Antigua, Guatemala, then Crete, Greece. In just a few months I'm headed to Jersey for another Greek wedding with the fam!
