Hello shipwrights artisan friends sorry I haven’t and really don’t write often so here it is 2 months ago I was asked to go to Tarpin Srkngs Fl to prep the Western Union. (the ship ) look her up. Built by the western union cable company in 1939 I was asked to make her ready to tow. Back to key west to do a couple plus year restoration in key west by shipwright Artisan and friends of the ship so start keeping up with theeesterninion site for progress as well as ship Wright artisan site for updates

I know I haven’t written in a bit but I still love you all new things happening in my life 3 weeks ago I was asked to go to Tarpin Springs And make the Western Union the last tall ship built in the state of Fl ready to hopefully be towed back to key west where she was built I’ve done what I can do there’s shill diver to look at patch and such her under waterline then a metal bridle being done by Marpro marine and I have to add their a great group of people made me feel very so welcomed and accomadating and as I were always a part of the crew then she will be towed back to key west where we (Shipwright Artisan ) will carry on with a 2 to 3 year restoration without much help from folks from out of town our lovely key west can rebuild her yoday as well as she was built there the first time anyway very blessed and honored to have the position and looking forward to the total job keep up with progress I will try to post more regularly.
