A question around the feelings that come up when consistent content just can’t happen...

Curious....

When you fall off the wagon creating consistent content for your brand

ie:
• you’re posting daily on Instagram, then go a week without posting
• or you’re blogging every week, then get busy and don’t for a month

What feelings does it bring you for you?

____1️⃣ No big deal, and just pick back up when you can, not going to stress about it

____2️⃣ It gives you a little anxiety; you worry maybe you’ll get dinged in the algorithm, but ultimately you’ve got clients to worry about and you let it go

____3️⃣ Obsess about it, think about it daily, it stresses you, you fret over what your audience must be thinking or worry if it will negatively affect your business, can’t wait to get back on track

____4️⃣ Irrelevant / you’re never consistent, so a break in your posting schedule is just how you operate anyway

____5️⃣ Not applicable / you’ve got someone who does your posts for you so this is never an issue.

Some sad news in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our beautiful is shuttered until further notice. Currently there are no cases in Key West, but we are taking extreme measures to keep it that way.

This is called "smalti". It's art made with teeny tiny fragments of glass, stone, and other solid materials. Alpha Mosaics entrusted us with her beautiful pieces, which we photographed in the studio using an easel and angular tripod, positioned perfectly parallel so as to not skew the angles of the original in the image. The work was exquisite and very inspiring.

Let's just say, it took us a few minutes longer than it normally would to capture this jewelry shot....the cuteness overload of manatees had us totally distracted. :D

Oh and by the way, if you think conveying the depth and layers of those pearlescent centers was an easy feat, think again. Using a technique called Depth-of-Field stacking, we were able to make them come through in the final shot, rather than just being a reflective hot spot in the center of the earring.

You would think that shooting outside and on location would be the easiest thing in the world. Actually, the lack of control over the weather, clouds, and lighting, often makes it MORE difficult.

With this shoot at Sunset Marina Residences of Key West Condominium, we had to plan the photos of the marina portion of the location at a different time of day than the rest of it, so that the sun would be coming from the East and illuminate the boats perfectly.

When asked to photograph cosmetics and creams, we often have to get creative with how we make the product look enticing and showing off its signature features.

In the case of NanoGold serum, showing off those purple flecks was paramount. Taking extra product from a second bottle, we built up the "peak" until it was just so, and photographed it on a white plexi to give it that reflection.

The Mile Zero Wrap originally started out as a beautiful chicken-filled dish on a plate. It would later become a favorite lunch time indulgence after this shoot at SHOR Restaurant Key West. The mojo sauce they put with it is amazing.

Runners of all ages are attracted to a unique scenic bridge race above the Upper Florida Keys and the eastern edges of the Florida Everglades. The annual First State Bank Key Largo Bridge Run is scheduled Saturday, Nov. 9th, 2019.
