Around here, we love crunchy dill pickles, so I had to pick up a couple jars when I saw an advertisement for Josh’s Pickles. The Heritage Dill are in a classic brine with garlic and fresh herbs. Super crunchy and very tasty. The Hot Dill are also very delicious and they have a perfect little touch of jalapeno heat. I'll do reels for these later today. Check them out!

Friday libations are in full effect! Tonight, we're trying out the Beezer which us a hazy IPA from Old Irving Brewing Co. and it comes in at 6.9% ABV. I actually find this one to be light snd refreshing. Just s touch of bitterness, but smooth and easy drinking with a light mouth feel. I can dig it! If you enjoy adult beverages, what are you drinking on this fine evening? Comment below!

Woo Hoo! Raking in that "digital creator" money. Got a whopping 0.12 cents this month, LMAO. The old saying used to be "Don't spend it all in one place", but 0.12 cents doesn't really get you anything these days.

Let's take a moment to talk about "cigar sickness". I had heard of the term but never experienced it... until yesterday. I never thought it would happen to me and there are ways to avoid it, so don't be dumb like me. If you're going to enjoy a cigar that contains a high level of ni****ne, one thing you should do is make sure you have recently eaten something. Eating before smoking a cigar helps stabilize your blood sugar level and it slows down ni****ne absorption. Good digestion and nutrient absorption can help your body handle the high ni****ne load more comfortably.

Other things that can help avoid the dreaded cigar sickness are to keep yourself hydrated with water throughout, especially if it's a hot day (it's always hot in Florida). Do your best to not inhale! Ci**rs aren't meant to be inhaled as the ni****ne is absorbed through the blood vessels in your mouth. I must have accidently inhaled a little bit during my session which contributed to the sickness.

I made the mistake of enjoying bourbon and a rather full-bodied, high ni****ne cigar on an empty stomach on a super-hot day and let me tell you, cigar sickness is rough! My blood pressure rose, but my resting heart rate dropped down to 51 beats per minute (average is 76-80 for me). I was sweating profusely, got very nauseous and felt like I was going to pass out. I had to lay on the cold floor and relax as much as possible. All of this can be avoided by following the guidance above! The more you know! Have you ever experienced cigar sickness? Almost every cigar smoker has. Drop your experiences below!

It's been a hell of a week already, but a little bourbon and a good stogie with our porch waterfall fountain is helping. Today's cigar is the Torano Ci**rs Casa Torano and I'm really enjoying it. It's got a slight touch of spice, a little creaminess and a touch of "earthiness". Seems like it has a long finish too.
