Shout out to the life enjoyers. The clock’s ticking whether you worry or not, so you might as well enjoy the ride. You only live once, but if you do it right, once is plenty.

People spend way too much energy on what they CAN’T CONTROL…

Meanwhile, the stuff they CAN control is sitting in the corner looking like, “So… we just not gonna talk about me?” 😂

Let’s focus on the things we can control and that actually matter.

Normally I go with the jerk chicken because, you know… you are what you eat.

But today they hit me with the “Mi bredda… di jerk done.” So now I’m over here with curry goat, white rice and cabbage looking like I give out life advice on the front porch.

I can’t even complain though. The curry goat was falling off the bone and them plantains almost ain’t make it home.

Sometimes life don’t give you the jerk chicken you wanted… sometimes it humble you with curry goat instead.

Looks like Central Texas about to get the deluxe light show package tonight. 🌩️😂

NWS says the severe threat is low, but Mother Nature still said “lemme slide through real quick.” Expect heavy rain, lightning, gusty winds and that one neighbor who suddenly becomes a certified meteorologist on Facebook. 📱☔️

Charge your phones, move them patio chairs inside and don’t try to outdrive flooded roads tonight. Turn Around, Don’t Drown. 🌧️🚗

🌧️ Killeen drivers, it’s looking REAL active out there tonight. Heavy rain and standing water possible. Slow down and remember: Turn Around, Don’t Drown. 🚗🌊

Yeahhhh… it’s looking real disrespectful out here leaving H-E-B tonight 🌩️😂

Weather about to get real active. NWS says storms moving through Central Texas this evening with possible strong winds and hail. If the sky start turning green, just go home immediately.

Somehow this career path has me casually meeting people like Jenny Taft, working alongside absolute wizard-level cinematographers, and crossing paths with some genuinely awesome humans on a regular basis.

The wild part? No two weeks have looked the same.
