Last month, the Copperas Cove Rotary had a flag repair day.

Over the past few days, members have been putting flags up in their assigned zones.

Today, Shannon and I helped put some up on the main highway through town for tomorrow.

This is a fundraiser for our club. For just $50/year, the club puts up flags for people/businesses on patriotic holidays- Veteran’s Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day and Patriot Day (9/11). They also take them down and store them after each holiday.

Living next to an army base makes this project even more meaningful. 💙
