Honoring the Stories of Our Military Women 🎖️
"These stories may not be in the history books, but they’re definitely worthy of being told." — Lila Holley
Lila Holley, a retired Army Chief Warrant Officer 4, knows firsthand the challenges of transitioning from military to civilian life. Her mission through "Camouflaged Sisters" is to ensure that the diverse experiences of women veterans—their trials, triumphs, and lessons learned—are shared and celebrated.
During Women's History Month, we honor the women whose names may not be in textbooks but whose contributions have shaped our world. Every story is a bridge for the next generation.
📖 Read their stories at https://kdhlocal.com/special-sections/ or every week in Wednesday and Sunday's Daily Herald.
