There is a marginal risk for the potential for strong to severe storms across Central Texas today. The better chances to see storms will be in Northeast and East Texas as the line looks to be better developed. Here in Bell County it will be hit or miss as models still struggle with the line developing this far south. The best part is we all get cooler weather from this front. Stay tuned.

🌦️ TGIF, Bell & Williamson Counties! A cold front is on the way tomorrow bringing a chance for showers and a few storms, mainly late afternoon. ⛈️

The severe threat stays low for most of us, but areas north and northeast could see some stronger storms. Expect the line to move through around 4–6 PM (give or take).

Cooler, more comfortable air rolls in behind the front — just in time for the weekend! 🙌

🌦️ TGIF, Bell & Williamson Counties! 🌦️

Tomorrow’s looking a little more active as a cold front heads our way! ⛈️ While the overall severe threat stays lower for our area, we could still see a line of showers and a few storms push through late in the day.

⏰ Timing: Models suggest the line arrives around 4 PM and moves out by 6 PM — give or take, depending on how fast the front moves.
🌩️ Best chance for stronger storms: North and northeast of our counties.
🌡️ Good news: Behind the front, we’ll get some cooler, more comfortable air to wrap up the weekend! 🙌

Enjoy your Friday — and keep an eye to the sky tomorrow afternoon! 👀🌦️

🌦️ Pattern Change???
There might finally be something to watch by late week into next weekend! Both the GFS and ECMWF models (a rare agreement this far out!) are hinting that the ridge could loosen its grip — allowing a developing trough over the central U.S. to bring 20–30% rain chances and slightly cooler temps.

It’s still early, but hey — for those tired of this “Groundhog Day” stretch of warm, dry weather, at least there’s a glimmer of hope! 👀
