Some people enter your life at exactly the right time—and years later, you realize just how much their belief in you helped shape your journey.

I first met Christopher J. McPhee at the Military Influencer Conference in Washington, D.C., in 2019. I immediately noticed his work ethic, creativity, leadership, and the way he brought ideas to life. I knew he was someone I needed to follow and learn from.

Not long after, Chris invited me to be a guest on his podcast—just one year after my car accident. I shared parts of my story that were still incredibly difficult to speak about. He did not interrupt, judge, or try to fix anything. He simply listened and gave me the space to use my voice.

From there, we began sharing ideas and finding ways to collaborate. Every time I came to Chris with another idea, he never told me I was crazy. He would simply say, “Do it,” and then ask, “How can I help?”

Years later, that same encouragement, trust, and energy remain.

That is why being chosen to support Chris and the release of his newest book, Follow Me: Leadership Lessons from the Shadows That Shape Extraordinary Leaders, means so much to me. This is more than a professional opportunity. It is the continuation of a friendship and collaboration built on trust, mutual respect, and a shared belief in helping others grow.

Chris has spent years leading, creating, mentoring, and encouraging others to step into their purpose. Now, I am honored to help share his work and the leadership lessons behind this book.

Chris, I am incredibly proud of you. Thank you for believing in my ideas, supporting my voice, and trusting me to be part of this next chapter. I cannot wait to see where this journey takes you.

Community Spotlight: Rein’s Consignment & Thrift Store 💙

Sometimes, you walk into a local business and quickly realize it is about so much more than shopping.

I recently had the blessing of discovering Rein's Consignment & Thrift Store and meeting its owner, Reina Reed. Reina opened the store just last year with a mission, a heart for giving back, and a genuine desire to serve her community.

This is more than a consignment and thrift store. It is a place built with purpose, compassion, and a story that deserves to be shared. Reina has created a welcoming space where people can find affordable treasures while supporting a local woman-owned business that truly cares about others.

I am so grateful that I found this store—and even more grateful that I found Reina. I look forward to learning more about her journey and helping share the heart behind what she is building.

Please follow and support Rein’s Consignment & Thrift Store on Facebook:

Stop by, shop local, share their page, and help spread the word. Every visit, purchase, donation, follow, and share makes a difference for a small business with a big mission.

This means the entire world to me. Keep following along for what God has in store for us.

We have an AMAZING ANNOUNCEMENT!

-----------------------------------------

We are proud to officially announce a new partnership between A Wild Ride Called Life and Honor Box Studios

At the heart of both organizations is a shared belief: every story matters, every sacrifice deserves to be recognized, and every legacy should be preserved.

A Wild Ride Called Life was built on the power of storytelling—creating space for people to share the experiences, struggles, resilience, and purpose that have shaped their lives.

Honor Box Studios takes those stories and transforms them into something tangible. Each handcrafted piece begins with a decommissioned military ammunition can and becomes a one-of-a-kind heirloom created to honor service, sacrifice, and the person behind the uniform.

This partnership brings together heartfelt storytelling and handcrafted legacy pieces designed to ensure that meaningful stories are not forgotten, placed in a drawer, or lost with time.

For me, this partnership is deeply personal. As a veteran, storyteller, mental health advocate, and media company owner, I understand how important it is to recognize not only a person’s service, but also the family, sacrifice, history, and journey behind it.

Together, we will continue honoring stories, preserving legacies, and creating meaningful impact—one person, one story, and one Honor Box at a time.

After everything I’ve survived, everything I’ve learned, everything I’ve rebuilt —
why would I shrink now?
I’m here to shine.

This is what community looks like.

Marine Veteran Minnie Whitzel served our country for 31 years, founded VFW Post 12235, and has spent years creating a place where Veterans feel seen, supported, and never forgotten.

Now, Moving With The Military has honored her with a life-changing home makeover as part of their America 250 celebration.

This story is personal. It is powerful. And it is a reminder that the people who spend their lives caring for others deserve to be cared for too.

In 30 days!

I’m honored to be invited to speak with Instant Teams on July 8, 2026, at 12 PM EST.

I’ll be leading a conversation on a topic that doesn’t get enough attention—how we raise children into respectable young adults.

As a parent of two, now 23 and almost 26, I’ve had the opportunity to reflect on the long-term impact of how we show up, lead, and guide our children—especially while navigating the demands of military life.

This conversation will go beyond surface-level parenting advice. It’s about responsibility, resilience, accountability, and the values we model every single day.

If you’re a parent, leader, or someone invested in the next generation, I invite you to join us.

Let’s have the conversation: How do we raise respectable young adults?
