Many of you have been asking about our future plans, so we wanted to share an update.
After considering our options, we have decided that Georgie's Pet Store will be moving into the WOWD building in Kilmarnock.
We're looking forward to having more room for our animals, supplies, and future growth while continuing to serve the community we love.
We'll share updates as we begin working on the space. Thank you all for your continued support!

Chinchilla Fun Facts!
🐭 Chinchillas have some of the softest fur in the world—up to 80 hairs can grow from a single follicle!
🏔️ Chinchillas are native to the Andes Mountains of South America.
🌙 They are most active at dawn and dusk (crepuscular).
🛁 Chinchillas clean themselves with dust baths, not water baths.
🦘 They can jump up to 6 feet high!
⏳ With proper care, pet chinchillas can live 10–20 years, and sometimes even longer.
🌡️ Chinchillas are sensitive to heat and do best in cool temperatures.
🦷 Their teeth grow continuously throughout their lives, so they need plenty of hay and safe chew toys.
👂 Their large ears help them stay cool and hear predators in the wild.
🤍 Every chinchilla has its own unique personality—some are playful and curious, while others are calm and cuddly.
